HoldBack is a tool for tracking equity compensation and estimating the tax withholding gap on it. By using it you agree to these terms.

Estimates, not advice

Every figure HoldBack shows is an estimate computed from published tax tables and the numbers you entered. HoldBack is not a tax advisor, does not know your complete tax situation, and its output is not tax, legal, or investment advice. Confirm anything that matters with a professional before acting on it.

Your data, your responsibility

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and confirm. Imported values are drafts until you confirm them — confirmation is your statement that you checked them.

The paid plan

The paid plan is $99 per year, billed through Stripe, and unlocks the withholding-gap projection and safe-harbor guidance. Cancel any time; you keep the free tier and all your data.

Liability

HoldBack is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for tax outcomes, penalties, or decisions made on the basis of its estimates.
